How Coaching Works

I provide a confidential and supportive sounding board. By asking questions, challenging assumptions, and helping to provide clarity and resources, you will gain insights that you can immediately apply in your organization or team. As we begin working together, we have the option to use 360 and other strengths-based assessments to shed light on patterns that support your goals as a leader and to help you gain self-awareness.

What is executive coaching?

Executive coaching involves a series of phases, starting with intake, assessment, goal setting, and development planning. Conversations are completely confidential between the coach and coachee.

In essence, Executive Coaching is partnering with leaders in a thought-provoking, creative manner that inspires them to maximize their business and leadership potential.

How might executive coaching benefit you or your organization?

Executive coaching will help you, or the members of your organization, achieve higher levels of self awareness and improved self regulation.

Executive coaching will also help develop emotional intelligence and advance social skills.

Through coaching, you will experience a greater motivation, profound personal expansion, and greatly improved leadership abilities.

Dr. Legatt's Approach

Dr. Legatt is inspired by the Gestalt approach to coaching. Gestalt is a holistic approach that enables clients to incorporate the complexity of their experience into the coaching. Using presence and practical experiments, clients will be able to make meaning of their goals and unlock their potential.

Dr. Legatt's approach places great importance on systems centered thinking, focusing on integrating the whole person into the session while approaching goals systematically.

The ethics of coaching

Following the International Coaching Federation's ethics, l uphold the honor and dignity of the profession by striving to set an example of the highest ethical and moral conduct.

This means I promise to:

  • Discover, and clarify what my client truly wants to achieve
